What acne treatment works best ?

I've tried Proactiv,ambi,clearasil and noxema and neutrogena maybe i have used the wrong produtcs on there line.Give me specific names of the product thanks :]What acne treatment works best ?
Proactiv and claerasil don't work well for me either I use clearpores and exposed.

OXY works very well to preveant pimples and un wanted marks!
First of all:





1. How long did you use each product, acne gets worse first for several weeks before it gets better. If you used it for 2 weeks then you gave up too soon.





2. How severe is your acne? If it's very severe ask you doctor there are oral pills for severe acne.





3. Are you a teenager? If you are going thru puberty then you will have acne until you pass puberty. It's just the cycle of life. Best thing to do is to keep your face clean.





4. If you are using all of those products together at one time then you've probably overdried your skin so it overproduces oil to compensate causing more acne. Stick to the 3 step of:


Cleanse, toner and moisturizer that's the basics no more no less.





Also you can use a 2.5-10%(depending on your sensitivity) benzyol peroxide night cream on you acne area at night to kill bacteria and increase the rate of skin cell turnover to get rid of acne and scars. Remember to use moisturizer in the morning b/c it dries out your skin.
depends on ur skin type and severity of ur acne if its a light case use proactive or some store bought things buttt if its severe u should go to a doc, i took some pills called ';doxycicline'; they work like wonders and u need not a prescription at least not here where i live and theyre just 30cents a pop and i also used a ointment called ';duac'; but thats prescription stuff but they work in combination theyre great and use cetaphil daily facial cleanser does wonders for skin keeps it healthy and it has no oils

I've found that using a combination of brands worked exceptionally well for me. Twice a day I use:


- St. Ives apricot acne-prone skin exfoliator


- Clearasil daily fash wash


- Gold bond ultimate moisturizer


- Clean %26amp; Clear Persagel 10


- L'Oreal bare natural mineral powder foundation

I just wash my face w/ soap and water, my acne is amazing, cos it's not there!!
get oxytetracycline or roaccutane perscripted from your doctor if its quite bad acne xx
proactiv- my far.......BUT you have to keep using it! Good luck!

You can try any skin care line, but make sure you use their products and their products only. For example, if you chose to use Clean%26amp;Clear, buy their cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. Don't mix products! I have combination skin, and I use Estee Lauder skin care and it works really well.
clearisils pretty good in preventing acne.
I was in a restaurant and went to the ladies room and while drying my hands a woman from India looked at me and said ';such a pretty face to have so much acne'; and then she told me she wanted to help me and so she said that I had to take an egg with me into the shower everyday and seperate the white from the yolk,keeping only the yolk in the shell and to put this on my dry face and wash with it for 3to5 minutes. Do this everyday for the next 2 weeks and then cut back to about 3 times a week. It works better than any other product on the market. I still get an occasional pimple,but no more breakouts at all! hope it works for you too,good luck!!!
