If you've used it, please tell me about it. Im 15 and i have some small acne scars on my forehead and one on my cheek and chin that havent been going away. I still put zit cream on them but nothing seems to work. Im thinking of buying that Neutrogena scar treament. Any suggestions? Anything better to use? please help. thanks.Neutrogena Acne Scar treatment?
I've tried that stuff. And I don't think it was worth the price. It made my skin feel kinda clean and smooth after using it, but even after a couple months I didn't really notice any huge difference in the scars, and I have minimal ones too.Neutrogena Acne Scar treatment?
I am 32 and had terrible acne as a teenager and it finally became under control, of course, with seeing a dermatologist and as I got older. What ever you do, don't pick at the pimple. It will then scar. I found using AVON products to be the best. You should look into the True Pore collection (mask, toner, cleanser, and facial cream). Also, you should really see a derm if you have acne scars. He or she will probably prescribe Retin-A or something similar. I used it when I was your age (and still do)and the scars pretty much went away and it looks as if I never had severe acne.
You shouldnt put zit medicine on them, Neutrogena and

Aveeno are oth great., also pure vitaman e oil is wonderful, go to your pharmacy and look into whats availale, Aveeno kept my sons chicken pocks from barely showing up and no scarrng thats why I use it for stuff like that. Good Luck
well, i've used it but not for very long because i got pregnant soon after i bought it. to be honest for the price i paid for it i expected to see some better results. but, it did make my skin feel smoother so i think it does work, eventually. I think it takes longer than they let on. i'm pretty sure on the bottle it says like 8 weeks to see results. thats a long time! it stinks though. and be sure not to get it in your eyes if you get it.

cocoa butter works great for scars as far as i'm concerned. and its fairly cheap. it has to be 100% pure cocoa butter though- its usually in a stick form because its hard unless heated up a little.

i've heard vitamin E works well too. I've never used it.

I don't think anything is a quick fix when it comes to scars. nothing i've found anyway! give it some time...
