I recently started using clearasil stay clear but it isn't clearing up my face its just making it worse. Should i switch to another product? What products worked for you? Am i not being patient enough with this cleanser? What is the best treatment for acne?
Well,I do have terrible acne and I found that my skin type is sensitive skin and it makes me harder to find the right products that I could use to reduce my acne. That is when I tried Clinique 3 Steps Skincare Regime and it really works for my acne and now I have less breakouts after 3 months usage and I only need to work on my scars from my previous acne to improve my skin complexion.Since Clinique 3 Steps works for all skin types,I would recommend you to try this product since it has the basics of skincare regime and work wonders on your skin. However, you could also try these homemade remedies if you want to improve your chance of healing.Good luck trying these at home(:

Honey Paste-Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.

Orange peel-Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and apply to acne affected areas.

Basil tea-Basil tea like neem is effective in killing bacteria. Drinking it twice a day can do wonders to the skin.

Coconut Oil-Coconut oil is a cheap and easily available acne solution. Regular use of coconut oil over a period of time helps to clear your skin.

Lemon Juice-A simple remedy at home for acne: Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results.

Well, these are the remedies that work gentle on your skin while getting rid of acne.Hope this helps and great skin wishesWhat is the best treatment for acne?
well, firsty , do not listen to the people below because they'r trying to sell you products that do not even work. and neither does clearasil, youll see advertisements everywhere saying ''have a spot free face in less than a month'' , don't be drawn in, its a load of rubbish, only the doctors have medication that can actually make a change to your face, and the best thing yet is something called 'pro-accutane' . its a very serious drug that can have bad side effects, nose bleeds, itchy skin, dry skin, ect,but depending on how desperate you are to get rid of your spots and how severe the acne is, its up to you, if its worth it then its worth it. its just a 2 tablet a day thing for 5 months. and can i please add, its the best treatment youll ever have to have, its gauranteed to work , i think the odds are something like 20,000 to 1 , so its unlikely that this wouldnt work for you. its miracle work , and youl see what i mean should you go on and take the treatment. im currently on it , and after 5 weeks its nearly worked, and i stil have 4months left, the treatment is fairly expensive, but if your under 16 it is totally free, and youll never look back, shocking is not the word
What I do, is I wash my face in the morning and In the afternoon with soap. You can also use a sponge. Make sure the water is warm but not too warm. The sponge and warm water is good for cleansing your pores which is what causes acne in the first place, filthy pores.

Good luck, :)
Proactive or if u have been trying to cure ur acne for a very long time, then I woould recommend Roaccutane. It does have a lot of side effects but I used it and my whole face is clear now(I had sever acne for 5 years).
A facial cleanser could take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for it to show effectiveness. If you aren't seeing any results after that then try going to a dermatologist.
