Acne is something that we all deal with, on some level or another. Although treatment varies per person and by the level of acne they have, here are a few things that have worked for me that might work for you:
First of all, eat right. Avoid those high in refined sugars, sodium, trans fats and saturated fats. Try to eat natural or organic when possible to avoid the heavy pesticides and perservatives in other foods. Drink lots and lots of water.
Second of all, different levels of acne require different treatments and amounts of application. Proactive and Clearasil both work well (Proactive is the better for most), but consult a dermatologist if you want the best results for you.
Wash your face at least twice a day with water, and use acne products when waking up and later in the day. Use lotions and skin cares that specifically say that they do not clog pores.
Third, DO NOT pinch or squeeze your face, where as this will cause much irritation and will worsen the infections you already have. Later scabs will form, and if you pinch hard enough often enough, a scar can form.
Also, realize that acne has much to do with hormones that are in your body. You would be surprised how much hormones control, and how possible it is to control them. It would take too long to go into detail on how to do it, but do a little of your own research. Find out what hormones contribue to acne, and then find out how to control those hormones through diet, exercise, medicine, etc.
Lastly, remember the quote, ';Perfection is impossible; excellence is attainable.'; Your face will never be perfect- and neither will anyone else's. Try not to compare it to others, but instead focus on the progress you have made. Take a picture of your face today, and as the weeks go by, if you stay true to treatment, compare your face to the picture and see how well you have come along. Beauty flows from the inside out, so be happy no matter what your face is like. Be thankful that God has blessed you with a face to wear. What is the best treatment for acne?
a good washWhat is the best treatment for acne?
There's so many products out there, %26amp; they always claim the same thing. Honestly, it depends on you. (your diet, your skin type, etc) Acne is different for everyone, there's no real product out there that's going to give you the results you want, well...store brand products anyway. The best thing is to go to the doctor %26amp; let them help you choose an acne treatment desgined for YOU.
Or if your acne is only mild, that clearisil 3 day scub works wonders, but again..it may nor for you..depending. I also use toothpaste, clean %26amp; clear on the spot acne treatment, %26amp; oxy worked pretty well too. But mixing acne products DOES CAUSE IRRITATION! I learned this the hard way. zap zit %26amp; that on the spot treatment mixed together = bad. but if you mainly exfolite %26amp; get a cleanser you'll be good.
hi,
what really helped me was drinking lot of water and also not eating too much meat..everyone is different, has different cure, you will have to experiment on that..some say you can buy acne treatment..clinique has a good one called acne treatment..it dries those buggers off quickly, and if you have aloa vera plant, than cut one leaf in half and put the jelly juic on them...hepled a lot also..
good luck and let me know what yours was..
Washing your face every night, use toner, acne cream, and try prescription medicine.
Proactiv worked for me when nothing else would
is that first guy advertising?
there is an antibiotic , doxycyclin, which works wonders and is affordable.
however the ever present flipside is that it increases your skin's level of sensitivity to the sun.
but it works for me.

pass it on (the site, I mean.)
That ProActive stuff advertised by Jessica Simpson really works ... I bought the kit for my daughter and it cleared it right up. There's also a kit at WalMart or Costco called AcneFree that's almost as effective. Biore has great pore strips for preventative blackhead removal.
definitely ZAPZYT..i love that stuff. It works like a charm without drying ur skin. And it's also inexpensive.
here's a link that will show what other ppl thought of the product:

You must eat right, and remember to wash your face because just like your hands they are carrying all sorts of nasty bacteria. Have lots of fish, the oil makes your skin shiny and last, every night put coco butter on your face.
