Acne treatment? Tips appreciated?

I've had moderate acne for about two years, and I'm wondering what could help stop it. My mom dislikes stuff like Proactive and other acne treatment stuff, and I 've seen people say that washing your face and changing pillows every 3 days helps, tips are welcome. Thanks:)Acne treatment? Tips appreciated?
鈥?Keep the skin washed and clean. Keep the infected area free of all oils. Wash or pat the face with lemon juice 3 times a day. Shampoo the hair frequently. Eat a good, balanced diet, exercise regularly, and get adequate sleep at night. Drop all saturated fats from the diet, along with junk food, fried food, refined food, dairy foods, carbonated drinks, caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco.

鈥?Certain dietary deficiencies have been linked to acne. This includes vitamin B6, zinc, and essential fatty acids.

鈥?Increase raw vegetable intake. Eat plenty of non-citrus fruits, raw vegetable juice, cooked vegetables, salads, whole grains, and a few seeds and nuts. Include some seaweed (for iodine) and pumpkin seed (for zinc).

鈥?Go on a short vegetable juice fast of 1-3 days, along with enemas. It would be well to do this every 2 to 4 weeks, until the skin is perfectly clear.

鈥?Beware of all oily foods which have saturated fats. This would include peanut butter, cheese, milk, and cream. A small amount of unsaturated vegetable oil would be acceptable.

鈥?Herbs which could be applied to the skin would include dandelion root, echinacea, alfalfa, chaparral, and red clover.Acne treatment? Tips appreciated?
yea thats about it. u can try clearasil. its just a face wash, and when u get sweaty or anything keep wiping it off your face. hope it helps :)
This is what I know:

1) Avoid touching your face with your bare hands (hands can be very dirty).

2) Wash your face twice a day.

3) Be careful with hairstyling products (they can run down your face).

4) Don't shave too much (you can irritate your skin).

5) Use ';masks'; regularly.

6) Make routine visits to a dermatologist.
ok i used to have a little bit of acne, but now its gone and i going to tell you what i did.

1)drink a lot of water

2)dont use hand soap to wash you face (dont know why, but i heard something in the hand soap makes it harder to get rid of acne)

3)NEVER pick at your acne , i know its hard not to, but if you want to get rid of it, you have to stop touching your face, because the oils from your hands can cause some of the acne.

4)try to keep your hair out your face (if your hair is even long enough)

5)when you sweat a lot, wash your face.

6) use warm water to wash your face.

ummm well thats all i can think of now, but good luck!

drinking orange juice or eating yogurt helps too because its cleansing.
These are home remedies based on 100% natural ingredients. Give them a try:

-Soak black gingerly seed overnight in water and massage it frequently over joint pains.

-Mix two teaspoons of lemon juice and two teaspoons ofhoney in a cup of warm water. Drink it twice a day

-Add a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a cup of boiledwater. Drink once a day.

-Mix one raw clove of garlic with castor oil and applyover the affected area.

-Soak seven leaves of rosemary in warm water and massage it daily over joint pains.
Mix lemon juice, rose water and glycerin in equal quantities. Apply daily before retiring to bed. Eat a lot of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, peas, lettuce, etc. A salad and fruit should be taken daily. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
