How is proactiv brand for treatment of acne and blemishes?

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.





I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I guess it depends on your skin, as with many skin products, as can be seen from the varied answers to the question. You should try it at least to see.How is proactiv brand for treatment of acne and blemishes?
I have used proactiv, and it was a little drying for me- (even though my skin is oily) I did see an improvement, but no miracle. I have heard of a few people using it and it has worked for them. I dont know how old you are, but if you are on a contraceptive pill, switch to one with the 'girly names' like Juliet or Diane. This was the only thing that cleared up my skin beautifully.
Proactiv contains benzyl peroxide which does clear acne. Johnsons make one too.
dont use it. it dries your skin like crazy and bleaches your nice towels. worst investment ever
Proactive is Horrible, just a scam. To treat acne my personal suggestion is to go on Acne.org. Watch the videos, read advice, and buy the regimen. It helped me overcome my acne. Do as it says and Good Luck!
Proactiv works really well for me. It dried my skin out a little in the first week I was using it, but I just used moisturizer in the morning and it was fine all day. I've been using it for 2 years now and I've found that as long as I use it continously, my skin doesn't dry out, plus it completley cleared my skin.
