I was wondering if you are able to use benzoyl peroxide and still wear make up?


Or is it harmful?


Can you suggest any foundations that I would be able to use if I'm using benzoyl peroxide?

Well, benzoyl peroxide actually bleaches stuff.





But, salicylic acid, another type of acne treatment, is found in alot of makeup actually.

you are going at this from the wrong way.acne is caused by a hormonal imbalance. everyone has a different genetic makeup. i'm swedish and italian, which also makes me bipolar. oh god did i have a broken out face, i spent so much time crying, maybe thats why i am sitting doing this trying to get through to you kids so you don't scar your faces. use clean and clear as a scrub and after you pat your face dry go over it with a cotton pad moistened with witch hazel. if you get a pimple dab more witch hazel on it. witch hazel drys up the pimples. you don't have to use expensive products, just keep at it, no picking or poping. i know its hard not to,but try drying them up instead,there is new skin under the scab. let the scab fall off and new skin, no scaring, oh no make up , you are introducing germs into what is already a small infection. you can use lipstick and mascara, but keep your skin as clean as you can. your goal is to come out of this time in your life without any scars.
If you have acne, STAY AWAY FROM MAKEUP !!!!


It will only make things worse.
