The only thing that cleared up my daughter's face was going on the birth control pill. It stopped her mood swings, and her face cleared up very nicely. I have recently learned that Proactiv spokesperson Jessica Simpson was also using accutane, a very strong medication that is only prescribed if you are male or female on birth control. Both my kids tried proactiv and used it faithfully, and only saw minor improvement. I would suggest going to a dermatologist and getting prescribed medication.
