yes! antibiotics. you can stay on tetracyclene (';tetra-psych-lene';) forever. (i don't know how to spell it). use that along with an over the counter 10% benzoil peroxide ointment. i like neutrogenas products. but if you use just the ointment everyday, it will make you all dried out and not really help much. the antibiotics are great. also you can use benzaclyn instead of over the counter products. but if you don't have insurance, don't bother with that because it's like $80 for a teeny tiny jar. i think that's just 1 ounce. it's great stuff though. i have always had awful skin, but the antibiotics work wonders for me.Can I get good treatment for cystic acne?

I would go see your doctor. My sister had horrible acne until she went to the doctor and was prescribed an antibiotic and prescription strength cream. She has great, clear skin now.
