Whats the best acne treatment?

what is the best product for getting rid of acne that doesnt cost lots?Whats the best acne treatment?
I really don't think the brown sugar is a good idea. I have skin problems and see a dermatologist regularly, and he tells me not to use harsh scrubs on any type of acne as this can cause irritation and make it worse. If you are able to see a dermatologist, they may prescribe very effective treatments such as differin, clindamycin, or retin-a. For very severe acne, they may prescribe accutane, which produces the most dramatic results. Treatment with accutane is nearly guaranteed clear skin, but some very serious side affects are involved.

If you are unable to see a dermatologist, there are many over-the-counter medications that many people seem to like. I, personally, am allergic to benzoyl peroxide, but I know this to be very effective for most people. Proactiv Solution contains this ingredient and seems to be very popular. For clear skin, the most important thing is to take care of your face. Wash with a mild cleanser and make sure to moisturize. Also, touch your face as little as possible; try just not touching your face for a few weeks and you will probably see slight improvement. Hope all this helps!Whats the best acne treatment?
Ripping your face off.
Hi Jules

Here are some real answers on skin conditions. Remedies at the bottom. Cleansing the body of toxins is the key. Especially a colon cleanse! Educate yourself on detoxifyng the blood.

Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman N.D. - ';What is your skin trying to tell you? Often the skin is a metaphor for deeper issues and a way for your body to send up a red flag to warn you that all is not well underneath. When our skin is unhealthy it is usually a reflection of the internal state of our bodies, and is often a sign of poor elimination of toxins and waste products. Most of us are embarrassed by skin problems such as rashes, boils or acne, especially in places where others can see our imperfections. The skin is the body's first line of defense against the environment. It has to deal with the effects of weather, sun , cold, heat, dryness, humidity, scrapes, bumps, soaps, detergents, chemicals, perspiration and dirt of all kinds. It is a wonder that our skin stays healthy most of the time! We can help our skin deal with this onslaught by optimizing our general health and by protecting our skin from harsh environmental exposure. Western medicine generally treats skin eruptions with either antibiotics, cortisone, or antifungal preparations. These medicines may alleviate the skin problem temporarily, or occasionally for good, but do not address the source of the problem. Putting a lid on skin symptoms without getting to the root of the imbalance may even result in suppression, that means the imbalance may be driven deeper causing more serious health problems later without ever strengthening the underlying vital force of the person. Fortunately, naturopathic medicine offers a wide vareity of effective treatments for skin problems.';

Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman N.D. - ';Your skin is a reflection of how well your body is eliminating the toxins that build up on a daily basis. Chronic skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis stem from a combination of genetic factors, immune stress, dietary deficiencies or sensitivities, and the accumulation of toxins in the body. For our skin to be radiant and clear, it is very important that the other organs of elimination (kidneys, liver, lungs, and colon) are cleansing the body effectively. If not, the skin will be overtaxed, pores will become clogged, and eruptions of one sort or another will result. Here are a number of steps you can take to improve your body's overall elimination wtih specific emphasis on your skin.';

Detoxification is a normal body process of eliminating or neutralizing toxins through the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph and skin. Fasting is the world's most ancient and natural healing mechanism. Fasting triggers a truly wondrous cleansing process that reaches right down to each and every cell and tissue in the body.

Natural Cures

1. Fruits and Vegetables for Acne: Carrot %26amp; spinach, celery %26amp; watercress, grapefruit juices are all useful to combat acne.

2. Unwholesome Foods: Acne, a prevalent problem among teen-aged boys would not be possible in our society if our foods were wholesome. A most sad and disgusting sight is the pus-filled pimples due to inner toxicity --- wastes trying desperately to escape through the face. This condition often turns a gentle face in the blossom of youth into a waste dump of pimples, pus and subsequent pock marks which can be prevented. The tons of acne medications and prescriptions sold annually act only on the effect of the harmful food, and not the cause of the disease, malnutrition. The traditional teenage meal, a grease burger, french fries and a milk shake or cola simply does not provide enough nourishment for anyone, let alone a boy going through puberty to adulthood. Our highly processed foods are devoid of hormones found in fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds. Must do a colon cleanse to rid of all the toxins in the body, which eventually get into the blood and cause acne and all other diseases.

3. Cabbage: Apply a lotion of freshly prepared cabbage juice preceded, if desired, by the application of leaves. The eating of cabbage leaves or juice is also helpful.

4. Lemon Juice: Skin problems such as acne... will often respond to a treatment of lemon juice. For blackheads rub lemon juice over them each night.

5. Black Walnut: Externally, Black Walnut is nearly a miracle worker in cases of ...acne, dandruff, boils, itch, shingles, ringworm--we could go on, but you can see that you can use Black Walnut whenever a skin disorder appears! The tincture is an excellent first-aid remedy for wounds.

Best of health to you

Cheers
Try some CLEOCIN-T..look it up on the net..it works AWESOME
To be honest with you jules all the wons that actually work cost alot. Proactive thats 20 plus shipping and handling. Any product by oil of olay is good especially the ones with microdermabrasion crystals but their 30 dollars a kit. The cheap stuff doesnt work. Home remedy that works. Brown sugar and water. Scub your face with it. It'll scrub the top layer of dead skin off. Do it 3 times a week it works and its only (how much is sugar) 3 dollars a bag.

Agreed - Pro-Active. It's the affordable way to go.

But it works for some and not others, so it's up to your skin type.

And in the long run detoxing internally is the best. And cheapest by watching what you eat.
acne is an internal problem. topical creams and soaps, etc...will never clear up the problem. it's like trying to kill a tree by endlessly hacking away at the leaves and never getting to the root of the problem. acne is either a hormonal problem or a digestive problem. both problems can be cured by the foods you eat. drink lots of water and don't eat anything but green vegetables for two days (especially lots of cucumber). your face should really clear up quite a bit in just two days...then slowly introduce other foods starting with fresh fruits, then lean meats. if you notice new pimples forming then stop eating the newly added foods til your face clears up then add other foods slowly
you can try some of the home remedies from this website
proactiv soultion
the murad line..available at murad.com, bath and body, and sephora. it's really the best stuff out there.
To get good stuff go to a dermatologist and get the perscription stuff. It's only expensive if you don't have insurance. If you do you can get the 100 dollar meds for $10 and your insurance company will cover the rest. Just check your policy first.

What is the best treatment for acne?

I have pretty bad acne (mainly on my cheekbones and forehead - basically just around my hairline). I shower daily, so my hair isn't oily and I wash my face twice a day... but it STILL won't go away! Is there ANYTHING anyone can recommend??? I'm tired of having my face look this way!

Oh... I'm also fifteen.... if that could have anything to do with it.What is the best treatment for acne?
a good brand is called terminator 10? i think

it's an orange bottle and has a big silver 10 on it

it comes in a kit with four different products

it works better than proactiv because proactiv only has 2% sacylic acid ( the stuff that treats acne)

where the terminator 10 has 10%

it works great and fast

just be careful because it can dry your face out because its so strong

and don't be surprised if at first your acne gets worse, thats just all the dirt coming to the surface

you can get it at walmart

hope this helps! What is the best treatment for acne?
You aren't suppose to wash your face twice a day because it removes your natural oil which can cause irritation and lead to break outs! All you have to do is use face moisturizer every day and DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PIMPLES. Always use a soft gentle cream on your face before you go to bed and when you wake up. Soon, your pimples will be gone. If this stil isn't working, use Clean %26amp; Clear or Neutrogenia.
see a dermatologist so they can decide what the problem is. they can give you the best facial cleansers. i've had luck with cetaphil you can find it at walmart and target.
drink more water

What is the best acne treatment?

The only thing that cleared up my daughter's face was going on the birth control pill. It stopped her mood swings, and her face cleared up very nicely. I have recently learned that Proactiv spokesperson Jessica Simpson was also using accutane, a very strong medication that is only prescribed if you are male or female on birth control. Both my kids tried proactiv and used it faithfully, and only saw minor improvement. I would suggest going to a dermatologist and getting prescribed medication.

What is the best acne treatment?

I have used clean n clear, neutrogena, clearosil, n proactiv n non of then seem to work on my acne.

someone please help???What is the best acne treatment?
Hi

If you really want to treat your acne there are two recommended solutions that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.

Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that's causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few recommended Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their programs they share their valuable knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

You can learn about the fasest system and one of the most popular guides that can help you to get rid of your acne from the inside here:

http://www.squidoo.com/Acne-Free-In-3-Da鈥?/a>

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.

There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it's not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.

When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:

ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Vilante and some others.

You can find more information, reviews, cons and pros on the leading acne skin care products in this website:

I hope that these tips will help you to get rid of your acne, good luck! What is the best acne treatment?
This is what I do, I've never (exaggeration) had a pimple or anything and I'm 15 years old.

Use a regular face wash, not mean for the treatment of acne, just removing dirt from your face even bath soap does the trick, so the other treatments attack the real acne without getting ';sidetracked'; by cleaning other dirt that does not cause acne. (whether it's make up remover or anything)

Then use a scrub or wash such as Clean%26amp;%26amp; Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser, or St. Ives Apricot Scrub

Then get something like Stridex or Noxzema that you can leave on your face to fight acne without being visible on your face.

Then, use a moisturizer so you don't look like what people at my school call ';ashy'; such as Clean%26amp;%26amp;Clear Oil Free Morning Burst, that will hydrate your skin without clogging pores.

Finally, you should change your lifestyle if you eat things like Peanut Butter, which I no longer eat being it has been proven that it speeds up the production of acne, and it contains alfa toxins, not to mention its extremely fattening.

And don't come after me if this doesn't work, seriously.( I don't think there are repercussions but people have a tendency to get riled up over small situations)

I hope I helped. =)

Good luck.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
Maybe you want to try this one. Acnezine.

The Acnezine solution is a revolutionary acne skin care system formulated to treat acne from the inside-out. The Acnezine Solution is not just another topical acne treatment product. It is an entire skin care management system that finds the source of your acne and the blemishes you have, but also treats future outbreaks that you don't even see yet! Most acne products available today only treat blemishes that you already have, without helping your skin prevent more from forming.

You'll get a Free Trial!

seriously i tried everything and it just made it break out more or looked really oily, i went to wal mart in the skin care products and they have face ipes to remove make up and dirt and oily, get them its like 5 dollars for a 60 packs, use one day and night its super fast and easy and it works i swear by them along with my brother!!!
For severe acne roaccutane is the only thing that makes a significant improvement. It can be difficult trying to persuade your dermatologist to give you it though.

There are about 101 anti-biotics and creams that do sweet f.a.
If it's getting really bad I suggest you go to a dermitoligist, %26amp; If its not that bad, dont use makeup for a little while, wash your face daily, go natural, it works i promise =)
maybe AcneFree?
I use Proactive. It works well. But it depends on the persons skin

Acne treatment?

i have to prevent acne its starting and i want to take a control

i need i brand of cleanse to buy! WHICH ONE?????Acne treatment?
proactiv has worked really well for me, although i've heard people say it did nothing for them. if you are willing to pay then you can try it and see if you like it or if it works.

if not, try using a neutrogena product. heres some suggestions

-http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsDetail鈥?/a> that you could use once every week. its a mask and a scrub, which you are supposed to use on your skin once every week.

-http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsDetail鈥?/a> that you could use for everyday treatment, it isn't too harsh and will clean out your pores

-http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsDetail鈥?/a> if you are on the go (soccer practice, whatever) you could throw those in your bag if you want to wash your face after you sweat, or take off your make up

for a moisturizer i would use this

-http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsDetail鈥?/a> it is light enough that it won't clog your pores or feel heavy on your skin. it should also eliminate oil

or if you just want to go ahead and buy a whole system then get this

personally, i would try some of neutrogenas other products before you invest in something like that just to make sure they work for your skin

all of the choices i gave you are just suggestions and ideas, they are optional. you don't need every one of those things to eliminate acne. but if any of them sound like they would work for you then i would encourage you to go ahead and buy them!!

also, when i play sports in the fall my acne gets worse on my forehead. my dermatologist prescribed differin for me. it works really well, so if things get bad talk to him/her about that

hope that helps :)Acne treatment?
Go to Lush and buy Coal Face, Its Brilliant.

Or go the Doc and ask him to put you on something that will stop you producing grease, thats only if you have bad acne though!
I love Proactive! Morning %26amp; night. That works the best!

Clean and Clear Advanced Acne Control.

It helps prevent acne, and at the same time, gets rid of breakouts. It also feels wonderful on your skin =]
Acidophilus helps me- its a pill with the same ingredients as yogurt.

I also wash my face with a face wash with triclosan
After you cleanse before you go to bed put pure eucalyptus oil right on your face. It will smell strong at first but it makes pimples disappear!
Olay Clarify and Cleanse works wonders

i highly recommend it
Try Nature's cure, they are homeopathic pills, there only like 10 bucks and they sell them at your local drugstore.
The Wave!!

It works great!!

[Nuetragena]

    whats the best?Acne treatment?
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.

Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!Acne treatment?
    Proactiv solution!

Is the number one acne treatment, and it also very popular too, i currentlly use it, and it work!
