If it's on your shoulder, you may want to try a benzoyl peroxide product which has a higher percentage. You can get as high as 10% at most pharmacies without a prescription (which is about as high as you'd want to go anyway, I don't think you can get any with higher percentage). Most acne treatments are for face though, so you may have to specifically ask for a body benzoyl peroxide cream. There are other body washes meant for it, Neutregena has one and their ingredient is salicylic acid.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.





I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

i use clean and clear and it works for me. but honestly, you just have to try them all until you find one that you like because everyone's skin is different. just because something works for one person doesn't mean it will work for everyone.
